Placer County Deputy District Attorney’s Association Endorses Suzanne Jones for Re-election to the Board of Supervisors

GRANITE BAY, CA – In a testament to her’ proven commitment to public safety, The Placer County Deputy District Attorney’s Association (PCDDA) has announced their endorsement of Suzanne Jones for re-election to the Placer County Board of Supervisors, District 4.

“Deputy District Attorneys’ dedicated work to hold lawbreakers accountable for their actions is vital to protecting Placer County community members,” Jones said. 

“As a member of the Board of Supervisors, I have made public safety a top priority, and I have backed up my support with my actions and my votes. I’m honored to receive this important endorsement and I look forward to continuing to work hand in hand with Deputy DA’s to keep people who live and work in Placer County safe in the future.”

The PCDDA joins influential community and law enforcement leaders in supporting Jones’ re-election, including Placer County Sheriff Wayne Woo, former Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner, former Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones, former Sacramento County Sheriff John McGinniss, Placer County Supervisor Jim Holmes, Sacramento County Supervisor Sue Frost, Placer County Treasurer-Tax Collector Tristan Butcher, Placer County Auditor-Controller Andy Sisk, Placer County Assessor Matt Maynard, and Senator Shannon Grove.

Jones has a long history of serving her community. Prior to her election to the Board of Supervisors, she served as a Trustee on the Placer County Board of Education, earning the Trustee of the Year Award in 2019. Jones has also run a small business in Placer County and worked for the United States Department of the Army in the United States, Europe, and Saudi Arabia.  

An attorney and a trained mediator, Jones earned her Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento and earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, with a minor in Chemistry from California State University, Sacramento. In addition to her professional and volunteer activities, Suzanne is happily married to her husband Cliff, who served as an officer in the US Army. Together, they have an exceptional grown son.
